Sun Lakes Republican Club April 2024 Meeting

When: Wednesday, April 10th from 6:30-8:30 P.M.
Where: Navajo Room at Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248

The Sun Lakes Republican Club will feature “Moving America Forward In 2024” with keynote speaker Representative Justin Heap, at its monthly meeting Wednesday, April 10th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Navajo Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248. The public is invited! Please bring your neighbors and friends! Our mission is “education for an informed electorate.”

Were you happy with the way the 2022 elections were run in Maricopa County? On election day, do you think that the Maricopa County Recorder should be able to have functional printers with enough paper and toner to print ballots for all voters at all voting locations, not just at some locations? Should voters be able to vote in their precinct on the first try, or should they be forced to drive to several precincts before they find one with printable ballots? Should we expect our Maricopa County Recorder and his office to be able to count ballots on a timely basis, so we can find out the results along with the rest of the nation, rather than after a delay of many days or weeks?

Our meeting will focus on Moving America Forward in 2024 with evidence-based analysis and metrics from the Arizona Conservative Policy Alliance Team and keynote speaker AZ Representative Justin Heap, candidate for Maricopa County Recorder.

Arizona Representative Justin Heap currently is serving Legislative District 10, and he is Vice Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee and serves on both the Commerce and the Municipal Oversight & Elections Committees. He has a 100% voting record with the AZ Free Enterprise Club.

The meeting will begin with a candidate forum of three outstanding candidates for Maricopa County School Superintendent: Shelli Boggs, Nickie Kelley, and incumbent Steve Watson. Other candidates were not confirmed at press time. As is customary, you will be educated with a jam-packed agenda to make informed choices during the 2024 election season!
